ApexBulk ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify application.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use ApexBulk, we collect the following information:

• Shop Information: Your Shopify store domain (myshopify.com URL) and store name.
• Product Data: Product IDs, titles, prices, inventory levels, variant information, and tags — accessed and modified solely to perform bulk editing operations you initiate.
• Access Tokens: Shopify-issued API tokens used to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
• Task Data: Records of bulk edit operations including parameters, affected product IDs, and status.

We do NOT collect: Customer personal information, order data, email addresses, payment information, or any buyer data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for:

• Performing bulk edit operations (price, inventory, and tag updates) on your products.
• Maintaining task history so you can review and revert past operations.
• Enforcing usage limits based on your subscription plan.
• Communicating with the Shopify Admin API to fulfill your requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored in a secure MySQL database on a server with restricted access.
• API tokens are stored encrypted and transmitted exclusively over HTTPS/TLS.
• We implement industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access.

4. Data Retention

We retain your shop data only while ApexBulk is installed on your Shopify store. When you uninstall the app:

• All product data, task history, and store information is permanently deleted within 48 hours.
• We respond to Shopify's shop/redact webhook to ensure complete data erasure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. Your data is used solely within the ApexBulk application to provide the bulk editing service you have requested. No data is transferred to external analytics, advertising, or marketing services.

6. GDPR & Data Subject Rights

We comply with GDPR and global privacy regulations. ApexBulk supports Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks:

• Right to Erasure: Upon receiving a shop/redact or customers/redact webhook, all relevant data is permanently deleted.
• Right to Access: Upon receiving a customers/data_request webhook, we respond with any stored customer data (Note: ApexBulk does not store customer personal data).

Requests are processed within 30 days as required by GDPR.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of ApexBulk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
